達娜伊谷自然生態公園 (ECOLOGICAL PARK)

Ecological park that mainly serves as a conservation area for the Taiwan Tilapia. Admire the gorgeous landscape and the clear streams and enjoy the traditional Tsou singing and dancing performances. The park also features the magnificent Danai Valley Suspension Bridge and Fumei Suspension Bridge.

Established upon lush mountainous areas, the Tsou cultural park has alpine oolong tea gardens scattered throughout. Come enjoy high-quality Alishan tea and coffee, terrific Alishan-styled meals, hand-made Aiyu DIY, and Tsou singing and dancing cultural performances.

(TSOU NATURE AND CULTURE CENTER)

Educational nature and cultural museum extensively decorated with traditional representative colors of the Tsou tribe. Not only are there authentic relics collections and rich exhibitions about Aboriginal life, but there are also game-based interactive activities, providing visitors a complete experience of the Tsou culture.

ALISHAN MUSEUM (阿里山博物館)

Built entirely with cypress wood, the Alishan Museum completed its renovation in 2007. Not only does the museum exhibit Tsou Aboriginal cultural relics but it also features informative galleries about forest conservation, Alishan five-wood specimens, and forest railways.

哈莫瓦那不舞星空 (SKY TENT HOMESTAY)

Established on the home ground of the Tsou tribe, this homestay provides both suite accommodations and camping options. Enjoy authentic tribal cuisine in downtown Chiayi city. The restaurant is extremely suitable for dinner gatherings and is carefully decorated with Aboriginal totem patterns, wood carvings, fresh ingredients, and posters introducing the Aborignal Tsou tribe. Be sure to try their signature BBQ rice and grilled pepper fish.

Positioned between the Fumei Suspension Bridge and the Shanmei Bridge, the restaurant serves the well-known Tsou-style barbecue and other Aboriginal dishes. Insisting on cooking with the most traditional methods and using the freshest ingredients from Alishan. Come to enjoy the pristine nature and buy some Tsou specialties and other agricultural tribal goods.

Local Aboriginal-themed restaurant renowned for its artwork display created by the owner himself. Although Mr. Chen has never learned to draw, every piece of artwork reflects fine dexterity and meticulously expresses local culture and sentiment. Moreover, the Aboriginal-flavored dishes are made with ingredients grown in their own organic vegetable garden. Remember to try their specialties, bamboo rice, wild pork, and fresh vegetables.

來吉不舞藝術工坊.png

來吉不舞藝術工坊 (ART WORKSHOP)

Cultural art workshop where you can create your own wild boar DIY artwork. Not only were wild boars an important food source to the Tsou, but they were also seen as guardians of the forest and young Tsou boys had to successfully hunt them to be given the status of a warrior. Exercise your creativity with this fun art activity.

嘉娜百藝工坊 (DIY COFFEE EXPERIENCE)

Located in the deepest tribe of Alishan, this homey workshop is known for its handmade coffee experience. The hostess of Saixia descent will personally engage you in handpicking coffee beans,  self-roasting them with charcoal, and hand dripping your own cup of coffee. Not only that, you can make organic jam or the Alishan specialty Aiyu, bring home a potted coffee plant, and even make DIY coffee-dyed cloth.
