高雄市桃源區原住民文物館
(INDIGENOUS MUSEUM)
Preserving the local Aboriginal culture, this indigenous museum mainly exhibits cultural relics of the Bunan and the La Aluwa tribes. Enhance your understanding of these two Aboriginal tribes and the trajectory of their cultural changes. Don’t miss out on learning their tribal mother languages, listening to tribal legends and stories, and dynamic performances.
索阿紀吊橋 (SUSPENSION BRIDGE)
Proudly representing La Aluwa culture, the suspension bridge incorporates many symbolic cultural designs. The two central pillars are decorated with eagle feathers totem patterns, symbolizing the heroes among the tribe, whereas the two shorter anchoring pillars are designed to look like wild boars, silently guarding the bridge. This bridge is also the first suspension bridge able to hold passing cars in Taiwan.


高雄原住民故事館 (STORY HOUSE)
Displaying unique characteristics of the Aboriginal culture, this Aboriginal multi-purpose complex features creative cultural shops, food stands, and museum exhibitions. Not only that, a special market bazaar is hosted every first and third Saturday. At this event, vendors set up stalls selling unique cultural goods and agricultural specialties.

烏巴克創藝工作坊
(WU BAKE CREATIVE WORKSHOP)
Occupying a butterfly-watching field, this workshop is known for its colored-glass beads DIY. Create your own piece of jewelry with glass beads decorated with culturally symbolic elements such as the hundred step snake, lily flower, pottery urn, and the sun. Experience for yourself dressing up in Aboriginal costumes and playing on the traditional swing set.
深山裡的麵包店 (BAKERY)

This homey bakery is located in an ecologically rich environment and sells handmade and kiln-baked bread made with pesticide-free ingredients, self-fermented yeast, and organic eggs. The freshly baked goods are renowned for their incorporation of special agricultural products such as pumpkin, turmeric, rose, and flax seeds. Crispy on the outside and moist on the inside, the bread is perfect for breakfast or an afternoon snack.



芭特芙萊烘培坊 (BAKERY/CAFE)
With creative Aboriginal sketches painted on the walls by talented local children, the cafe is filled with a welcoming vibe. Come early at 9-10 am when the bread is fresh out of the oven. Don’t forget to try their signature Maolin coffee and red quinoa cranberry bagel. You can even participate in bread making activity!
