明治溫泉老街 (OLD STREET)
Take a brisk walk along this Japanese-style alley located in an Atayal village. Featuring a Meiji Tea wooden house as well as authentic shrines, this destination is a great place for Instagram photos. Nearby are some 3D mural paintings and the Guguan Suspension Bridge where you can take even more photos!
谷關溫泉文化館 (CULTURE CENTER)
Taiwan’s first hot spring exhibition where you can learn all about hot springs around the world, bathing etiquette, and the local topography through exhibitions, interactive puzzles, and film screenings. Then try on some traditional Atayal clothing, take a stroll through the massive garden, and enjoy the foot hot spring with small fish to exfoliate your feet.
八仙山國家森林遊樂區
Filled with rich natural ecological resources, this Forest Recreational Park is a perfect haven for urbanites to be-one with nature. Explore the different trails, admire the precious emerald green forests along the clear streams, and be on the lookout for the representative animals of this environment, such as the taiwan blue magpie, gray-throated mountain pepper bird, tiny woodpecker.
梨山文物陳列館 (MUSEUM)
Located in an Atayal tribe, this Museum has two floors. The first floor features the Highway Development History Memorial Hall and the Zhongheng Geological Topography Museum, whereas the second floor features the Atayal cultural relics exhibition, displaying their traditional buildings, utensils, and clothing. Increase your Aboriginal knowledge while experiencing indigenous hunting using their latest VR technology.

私房雨露 (VILLA)
Located on the home ground of the Atayals, this lovely forest villa provides cozy wooden cabins. The owners also have an ecological farm and multiple organic vegetable gardens, in which they harvest to cook authentic Tibetan cuisine. It’s also not far from Googuan, another Atayal village renowned for its phenomenal hot springs and amazing trout delicacies.
望向芸端露營區 (CAMPSITE)
Vast campsite renown for its gorgeous scenery. On top of camping facilities, they also offer homestay cabins, a hearty coffee shop, and a beauty spa. Spend an afternoon picking their local specialties! These organic peaches, pears, honey apple, and alpine persimmons are exceptionally big and juicy. Come in April to admire the stunning cherry blossoms.

Encompassing the three indispensable elements of aboriginal culture, music, food, and nature, this restaurant offers delicious Aboriginal cuisine accompanied by live tribal music performances. The lively enthusiasm of the Aborigines can definitely be felt in its friendly ambiance and creative interior decor.
回家吃飯異國廚房
Changing their menu from time to time, this cozy and characteristic restaurant offers a variety of multinational dishes. Everything is made with healthy ingredients from Indian Masala curry to Italian seafood pasta to Russian yogurt beef pilaf. Come enjoy a delicious meal in a warm dining atmosphere.
泰雅星鮮美食
No-menu Aboriginal cuisine featuring creative dishes incorporating Aboriginal spices and fresh ingredients. Not only does the restaurant offer incredibly large portions at a very reasonable price, but it’s also located on a mountain at an impressive altitude of 1800 meters, making it a great destination for sightseeing and stargazing. Remember to book a reservation at least one day in advance!

Comfortable little place with delicious barbeque rice bowls. Meticulously grilled over flaming charcoal, the original sweetness and juicy flavor are accentuated. Their chicken and Thai minced pork rice bowls are also well recommended. This restaurant is also available through Uber Eats and Food Panda.

DM CAFE
Homey coffee shop featuring self-roasted and hand-dripped coffee. Offering coffee beans from different countries from around the world, you get to customize your own coffee. If you’re not a fan of black coffee, then try their special latte made with espresso-ice cubes melted in cold milk. Order some light snacks or dessert, then have yourself a relaxing afternoon tea time.
AITENGA天愛花布工作室
Lovely clothing and accessories workshop specializing in African floral fabrics. Training single mothers in tribal villages in weaving and making handicrafts, the Aboriginal proprietress hopes to equip them with working skills to strive towards a brighter future. All profits are donated to those suffering from the Covid pandemic in Uganda.
